Rise Credit - Deceptive loan information
Obtained a loan from Rise in 2016.I was told the interest rate was 16% it actually was 98%.
I asked about loan closing paperwork and was told it would be in the mail within 2 weeks. I was told the payments would be 189.88 a month it was 189.99 twice a month. Because of the deception I have been struggling to make payments. I never received loan closing document.
When I inquired about the paperwork , I was told it was online, and that they (Rise) do not mail anything out.
When I went online the paperwork for my state (Illinois) was generic and clearly indicated all loans for Illinois range from 90 to 99%.I am hoping this company is put under a class action lawsuit for lying...
